Sinical Magazine: When were you born and where?
Dani Divine: I was born in London on the 29th of August, 1990.
Sinical Magazine: Where are you currently located?
Dani Divine: I still live in London. I don’t think I could ever live anywhere else even though I do like to travel!
Sinical Magazine: What has been the most interesting thing to happen during one of your photo shoots?
Dani Divine: Recently I shot using a smoke bomb for the first time. The red smoke added a great touch to a handful of pictures. Unfortunately it wasn’t long before the entire studio was a thick red fog and we had to evacuate it and let it clear for an hour!
Sinical Magazine: Do you have any pet peeves when it comes to photographers or other models?
Dani Divine: Thankfully, I have had the opportunity to work with numerous talented photographers during my time modelling. However, my pet peeves include “foot-choppers”, photographers who don’t shoot in raw, and models who give the rest of us a bad name by being flakey!
Sinical Magazine: A photographer described you as having a “bad girl” look. Does this also describe your attitude?
Dani Divine: If by bad girl you mean adventurous, wild and a little bit insane then I am most definitely bad to the bone.
Sinical Magazine: What are some of your vices and obsessions?
Dani Divine: I really enjoy a good night out on the town with my friends. But hopefully, I won’t shooting the next day! My obsession would definitely be music. I always have something playing, even at a photoshoot.
Sinical Magazine: Fetish clothing wise, who are some of your favorite designers?
Dani Divine: Westward Bound, Bibian Blue, Pandora Deluxe! And of course Royal Black Couture & Corsetry who have styled this shoot.
Sinical Magazine: In this photo set you are wearing nylons. What is the appeal of nylons to you?
Dani Divine: Stockings and suspenders add an instantly sexy feel to any outfit, even if they are not on show.
Sinical Magazine: What are some of your favorite books and who are some of your favorite authors? And what are you currently reading?
Dani Divine: At the moment I’m reading “Come As You Are” which is the story of Nirvana, but my favourite authors are Anne Rice and Edgar Allan Poe.
Sinical Magazine: You often perform at events. Can you talk about your routines?
Dani Divine: At the moment I’ve been doing a lot of fire performances. My routines involve fire breathing, fire fans, fire poi, fire sword, body burning, fire eating and more!
Sinical Magazine: Is it true that London is the fetish capital of the world? How does the city of London inspire you?
Dani Divine: The fetish scene in London is very impressive. Tickets to fetish events known to sell out fast! I love London because I feel completely at home here, and there is always something to do.
Sinical Magazine: In your travels for shoots and events, which city has been your favorite to visit?
Dani Divine: I went to Berlin earlier this year to catwalk at German Fetish Ball. It’s probably my second favourite city to London! I shot in some great Locations while I was there, the weather was incredible and the nightlife lasted until the early hours.
Sinical Magazine: Do you have any other upcoming projects or events you would like to mention?
Dani Divine: At the end of this month I will be performing for the first time in Barcelona at Nocturnafest! I will also be returning to Amsterdam for Dominatrix Party next month to catwalk for Pandora Deluxe. I love traveling. I often stay a few extra days after shows just to relax enjoy the city.
Sinical Magazine: What are your goals for 2015?
Dani Divine: Perhaps to win Sinical’s top alt model of the year. Haha! Additionally, I am looking forward to many shoots and performances worldwide, publications and some exciting collaborations! |
