Courthouse Staircase Fulfills Upskirt Fantasies

As they say, truth is stranger than fiction.  Being a fan of upskirt myself, I found this article near and dear.

Franklin County Courthouse, Ohio

Mediate uses a shoe-mirror to figure this out : "'Men designed it.' That’s the only reason Judge Julie Lynch, an Ohio Common Pleas Judge can come up with to explain the odd problem with Franklin County’s brand new courthouse. The building was built for $105 million and features a gorgeous glass staircase going through the lobby. However, someone forgot to think of what clear steps means for women wearing skirts or dresses.

Oh, well. Hindsight is 20/20. Incidentally, until this problem is fixed, hindsight is what everyone in the lobby is going to get.

I’m sure people will be respectful about this, right?"

From Ohio’s 10TV : “Lynch said that many people who visit the courthouse are there because of questionable choices.

‘They hope people will be mature? That’s not a solution,’ Lynch said. ‘If we had mature people that didn’t violate the law, we wouldn’t have this building.’”

Man... talk about a judgemental bitch.

Those Ohioans think they're so special!  We got a glass staircase! Wah! I found lot's more and better examples for all you pervs here.

Kinetic Sculpture defies all boundries

The south's largest metro now houses one of the craziest kinetic sculptures ever.  The video below doesn't do it justice. Wired just released the last of it's four part series on how it was created.  After watching it, I got a better sense of how much work actually went into it.

I tried for a good ten minutes to think of something witty to say.  I even used the toilet.  I do my best thinking there.  And... I got nothing.

Wired said this though : "The atrium in the Dallas Hilton Anatole hotel is Texas-big, lofting more than 150 feet in the air. Owner Harlan Crow — legendary real estate investor and eccentric collector of ego-size dead-dictator statues – needed to fill it.

What happened next was perhaps the most ambitious kinetic sculpture ever commissioned, the Nebula.

Conceived and designed by Berkeley, California, artist Reuben Margolin, and built and installed by Mark Sabatino’s Gizmo Art Production in San Francisco, the sculpture seems to swim, as a motor on the ceiling rotates a massive truss holding 445 stainless steel cables connected to 15,000 reflectors, shimmering like jewels.

Margolin, whose celebrated kinetic works include the “magic wave,” the “pentagonal wave“ and many others, says the Nebula is by far his most difficult piece to date."

Skull Sculptures by Dimitri Tsykalov

You know how some people just have too much time on their hands.  This might be one of those guys.  I give you Russian sculptor Dimitri Tsykalov and his fruit and vegetable sculptures of skulls.  I gotta admit.  It is intriguing.

I wish he would do some bananas in pajamas.

Check out some of his meat work here : NSFW
