Sinical Magazine: Can you tell us a little about your background and how you got started in photography?
Lorenzo Chuca: A quarter a century ago I started out as a sign painter and screen-printer, attended Art institute of Houston in the early 90's an started career as a print designer and illustrator designing Nursery Rhymes themed art for stationery print and children's apparel. I got to work with product photographers an got my first taste at film photography. By the late 90's I became a corporate designer, an was shooting editorials and events in the health care industry. During that time, me and some friends started a newsletter that became "LowTimes Magazine" that quickly expanded across Texas and was well received by Lowrider enthusiast across the country. By 2000 I was traveling coast to coast with friends, shooting car features, show coverage an just having a lot of fun doing it.
